Salary
- Stipend equivalent to 75% of Pay (Basic + DA) of Rs. 9450 + DA as applicable per month.
- Balance 25% of pay (Basic + DA) of the training period shall be released in four quarterly installment next year on successful completion of Training.
- The Trainees will be absorbed in Technician Gr-III (Electrician) Technician Gr-III (Fitter) and Technician Gr-III (Welder) in the pay scale of Rs.9450-3%-19450/- respectively plus usual allowances as admissible after successful completion of training.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on cbt examination and skill/proficiency test. There shall be 100 questions in the Computer Based Test and each correct answer shall carry 1 mark. There shall be no negative marking for wrong answers. All the question papers (except General English portion) will be bilingual i.e. English and Assamese. For the post of Technician Trainee Gr-III (Electrical/Fitter/ Welder) all the provisionally selected candidates will have to undergo skill test to their Trade of maximum marks-50.

Important Note- Candidate should register his/her name with Local Employment Exchange, Namrup and meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria is mandatory to apply online application within stipulated time period. The valid Employment Exchange number will be verified through Local Employment Exchange, Namrup, failing which candidature will not be considered written test/skill proficiency test.
