Salary
The Corporation offers a very attractive pay package and is one of the best in the industry. Selected candidates will be paid ₹18,500/- per month as a stipend during the one-year training period. On successful completion of training, the candidates will be absorbed as Junior Technician (W-3) in the Workmen category in the pay scale of ₹21,500–3%–74,000 (IDA).
Selection Process
- The selection process shall consist of Written Test followed by Trade Test.
- Written Test shall be of Objective Type of two-hours duration consisting of two parts.
- Part-I consists of Professional Knowledge Test having 120 questions of respective discipline.
- Part-II consists of General Aptitude test having 50 questions on vocabulary, verbal comprehension, quantitative aptitude, reasoning ability, ability to determine data sufficiency, interpretation of graphs/charts/tables, numerical ability etc.
- All questions carry equal marks. For Wrong or multiple answers candidates would get negative marks (¼ the marks for each wrong/multiple choices made).
- Candidates qualifying Written Test shall be called for Trade Test on merit basis (in the prescribed ratio). Trade Test for the post of Junior Technician Trainee (Electrical) will be qualifying in nature which will include tower climbing.
