Utility Powertech Limited (UPL) invites applications for engagement of Assistant Loco Driver Trainees on Contractual Basis.

Training and Stipend
Selected candidates shall be provided 90 days Assistant Loco Driver Training by Indian Railways, Complete cost of training shall be borne by UPL. During the Training Trainee Shall be given a Consolidated Stipend of RS 7,000/- (Rupees Seven Thousand Only) per month. Selected candidate shall have to Sign a Services Agreement Bond before start of Training in favour of UPL for RS 6,60,000/- (Rupees Six Lakhs and sixty thousand Only) and GST Extra, for period of five years.
On successful completion of training, these candidates will be engaged on Contractual engagement and deployed for assignment at UPL Bongaigaon at Minimum wage rate for highly skilled category as per the Central Government Notifications for Area (C), along with other allowances as applicable.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on written test.
Eligibility
- 10th/Matric Pass from Government Affiliated Board.
- ITI Pass in Fitter/Electrician/Diesel Mechanic Trade from Recognized NCVT/SCVT Board.
Important Terms & Conditions
- Who can apply for registration: Resident of Bodoland Territorial Area Districts (BTAD), i.e., Kokrajhar, Chirang, Baksa & Udalguri only can apply for registration for appearing in written examination.
- Candidate has has to submit their Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) issued by the Deputy Commissioner of the district, at the time of online registration.
- Top 2000 approx. registered candidates satisfying eligibility criteria in the order of merit based on their 10th class percentage, shall be issued admit card for written examination.
